I don't think we'll be blessed with the glorious weather of previous years, do you 🙁

Think I'll stick the mudguards back on..

Guys, guys, guys! have no fear it'll be fine, the weather has been kind to these parts of late. We would need a hell of a lot rain to ruin things now.

best ride of year, missing it due to another F*&*&NG chest infection. 2017 can do one as far as illness is concerned.

Even the weather looks alright now.

I've donated my ticket to someone who's going to match the charity donation so at least some good will come of it. I'll be at home moping around achieving nothing. 🙄

We had a great day, rode out from Stroud, arrived 15 min before the grand depart, set off on the 75km at a leisurely pace. The course had fared well after the recent rain, there were a few gloopy bits that required walking - but they're likely similar year round. Riders were very well catered for in terms of hydration and food, my one bottle never ran out. A very "well done" to the organisers. Pedaled home again and a pint & a pizza saw me sleep very well. Accumulated just under 80 miles & 8000' of climbing into the bank of SDW in a day training.
