EDIT Wrong Forum, sorry.
I know this is a 1st world problem but I'm getting a cold backside in the mornings on my drive to work because the driver's side heated seat in my car has stopped working. The passenger side one still works (according to Mrs Wombat).
I've checked the fuse and the electrical connections under the seat and they appear to be fine.
I'd like to rule out as many potential causes as possible before I get a garage involved.
Does anyone have any suggestions what I should check next?

can you check for electrical continuity through the heating element?
