Going to enter.. anyone on here done it? Wondered what the route was like? I know its not going to be particularly gnarly but I'm curious.. Full Sus or HT..? any other tips welcome.
Did it last year, well organised event.
You should be fine on a hardtail, I did it on singlespeed, there's a long flat stretch on the Downs Link in the middle where I suffered with a low gearing. It's mainly gravelled paths with a few stretches of road and a couple of pieces of nice singletrack.
As above - for fast time a tall geared xc bike would be the best, but it's not technical in the least, so would be good for all types to have a go...

Remember to enjoy the last climb up on to the South Downs
Im thinking full sus.. more for my back than anything else!
How long did it take you Drofluf?..
