[Closed] headsets - why are they so bloody complicated these days?

I bought this frame [url= http://www.dolan-bikes.com/road/road-frames/road-frames-aluminium/dolan-preffisio-aluminium-road-frame-3121.html#product-tabs ]Dolan Preffisio[/url], which requires a fully integrated drop in headset 36/45. Dolan have recommended this [url= http://www.dolan-bikes.com/bike-components/bike-headsets/alpina-1-1-8-integral-headset-3173.html ]Alpina[/url] but its a bit ugly for my liking and I'd prefer something a little more low profile.

I've had a look on various sites wiggle etc and they don't make it easy trying to buy the right headset.

Cane Creek are quite comprehensive too.
