I have a new PX dirty harry frame that looks as though it needs an internal/intergrated headset, it also has a tapered headtube. I want to fit a fork with a standard 1 1/8th steerer and for the life of me can not find a headset to fulfill the criteria. Planet X phone answers have been worse than useless, at one point i was asked "is that the same as the Dirty disco?" and have reccomended 2 different headsets, one intergrated that works with a tapered steerer and one press fit that will work with standard steerer!

This is starting to do my nut in, are there any owners or knowledgable people out there who can help? Please.

reducer out of stock at the moment, but this is what works for me hope it helps.

Is that the one in fluxhutchinson's post? I was trying to find if there where any other (cheaper) options. Can't get my head around all these headset standards.

Anyone confirm if this would fit?

yup that looks right. But you will need the other crown race if running a straight steerer.

Cheers andyl. Yeah, I'll need the other crown race but it's certainly a cheaper option

Not keen to spend £80+ on the FSA but equally Superstar bits aren't known for their reliability. Somewhere in between would be great: anyone know if Hope do a compatible one?

Thanks...I did study the Hope Headset Technical Guide and came to the same conclusion. Might give them a ring tomorrow to confirm 🙁
