I've got a stanton slackline, currently fitted with 1 1/8 straight steerer forks with a nukeproof warhead headset. However I've just bought some tapered steerer forks, and wondered what I need to change on the headset to account for the wider taper. Cheers in advance
I take it it's the 631 version with 44 head tube and not the 853 one?
also need to know headset make?
631 yep. Nukeproof warhead 44IETS it says on the box
Assuming it has the external bottom cup and a bearing with a 1.5" centre in the lower cup then all you will need is the correct crown race for the new forks.
The info on the headset I can find is a bit ambiguous unfortunately
