I have just bought a 2010 Giant XTC 29er frame with no headset.
I already have some Reba's but the steerer is 1.1/8 can I make the two work with the frames tapered steerer?

You should be able to use your existing fork , you just need the right headset . Take a look at the hope pic and mix ones .

Hope and FSA have similar tools, measure up the steerer tube if you struggle to find your bike and use hopes website to work out exactly what you want.
