Need a new headset for a Scandal, i put a Cane Creek in, which surprise surprise died. It also was quite slim, so some of the headtube was showing, if that makes sense.
A Hope would be nice, but budget etc, so a good one.

My wife's Scandal has an FSA Orbit MX fitted, which has been great (I've got one on my bike too) but it also shows a fair bit of headtube and I don't think that this can be avoided. The Scandal 26's headtube does seem fairly thick and I'd imagine that most 1 1/8 external headset cups are going to be a similar size.
