who does a decent not too expensive one? I know Chris King do one at £150 ish.......... any Cane Creeks or similar
thanks
On One Smoothie mixed
Do you want one with or without a crown race?
I haven't had a good experience with the on-one headset - needed regreasing very regularly and didn't stay agjusted.
Got one of the Hope 'pick and mix' ones now and it's a lot better.
Worth spending the extra £20 for Hope, imo.
andrewh - with crown race
thanks
I have exactly this from superstar cost 40 quid and is great.
depends on the headtube, what bike is it.
ss do all variants.
They didn't do an Integrated 42mm top / Integrated 52.1mm bottom when I wanted one.
They do now.clickage
I doth my cap to you Sir, that would of saved me £60. I take it they do the reducer for the bottom.
it comes with two crown races.
gixerator: bike is yeti asr 5
Agreed - get a Hope - helpful guys, great stuff. We use them to save bother - it's all a minefield right now (as are BBs nowadays too, AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!).
I have an unused Hope one for sale if you're interested?
Superstar do one.
Careful thought, there are a couple of different head tube options to be aware of, integrated or external upper race, integrated and external lower race with two diameters of lower head tube available, it's a minefield out there in headset land! My advise is use the 4 digit headset codes as a reference, Superstar reference them and they're normally on the frame manufacturers spec pages for every bike/frame.
Hope that helps
