[Closed] Headset confusion

hi guys, long time lurker first post.

So I am getting a frame that has a tapered headtube, something that I have not had to deal with yet, and the recommended headset for it is the Cane Creek 40 head set (EC44/IS41). I am wanting to fit a Hope headset using the Hope 'pick n mix' so Hope reference number 3 H. But what throws me is the description below found on the frame manufacturers site -

head set size top- IS41/28.6 and IS42/28.6 according to SHIS (Standardized Headset identification Systems)
Please note: Hope IS41 head sets do not fit. They are compatible with the used SHIS type.

head set size bottom -EC44/40 according to SHIS (Standardized Headset identification Systems)

So this combination won't fit the frame? Or is it some complete headset it is refering to?
