[Closed] Hayes Stroker Carbon - good job

I gave my bike a bit of a service yesterday and had ordered some new pads for the Hayes Stroker Carbon brakes I fitted about 2 years ago. I was surprised to see there must be well over half of the thickness of the original pads there still. These brakes have been no trouble at all - the bike goes out once or twace a week and although the terrain isn't all that hilly, it is very sandy. These brakes have had no attention at all in 2 years except for the occasional check of the pads. The feel is very positive and they reliably stop me. Couldn't ask for more, so as far as I'm concerned, highly recommended.
