Anyone used? Looks like they might be good for smaller adult hands as well as kids?

(For those who’ve not seen the bar is smaller diameter than normal and the brakes clamp onto the grips rather than directly onto the bar).

I have some for my youngun - They're a fine piece of kit although you are limited to the grip set up of course.

Not what you asked for, but Vitus's lock on's are unusably small for my hands.

I've got big hands but there aren't any other grips I've found that are so narrow I can't actually wrap my fingers/palm around them.

I have them on both my kids' bikes and think they're great. Nice, small grips and small plastic collars that sit under the brakes/shifter/dropper levers to reduce the diameter and stop them scratching the bars.

I'd say they were great for anyone with small hands (up to 10/11/12 y/o boy size - give or take) but that they're probably a bit narrow for an adult, especially in today's times of 800mm wide bars.

Are they not 680mm? Which is the same as the EA70s on the hybrid of doom…

Ah ignore me - my kids have the SDG Slater kit on their bikes so same concept but different execution. Think looking at the spec on these, that the bars are only 650mm wide which sounds about right.

Can't comment on the Hayes stuff but for me the usual Hayes Corp rules would apply.

What are those?

Be selective. The brakes have often been cr@p and the rims used to be heavy and soft. No idea what they're like these days but it's always felt like they're not really trying. That and Manitou went from making some of the most to least desirable forks in the blink of a, well intentioned and structurally sound, eye when they reversed the arch. It makes so much sense but it looks s*** and no doubt decimated their market.

Interesting they're partnering (sponsoring) the Atherton team - I imagine they're quite demanding and wouldn't have accepted a sub par component in the name of sponsorship so they new (?) dominion brake may be quite good.

Ah - fair enough.

There was a thread somewhere else on here in the last couple of days raving about Hayes Dominion A4 brakes, and I suppose there's not much to go wrong on a handlebar...
