Hi

I'm just swapping parts across from a busted frame to the replacement and i've ran into the good old internal routing problem.

I need to swap the rear Hayes Dominion but I don't have any of thier fittings.

I've had a look online and ziltch.

They use a compression olive that actually seats in the end of the brakeline, i'm guessing the shape is particular to them with regards seating in the lever assembly.

I have Shimano fittings, has anyone used them? Or does anyone have any Hayes fittings they can sell me or point me in the direction of?

I'm due away next Tuesday so things are all a bit tight.

Thanks

Needs the specific dominion fitting. I tried a Shimano one in mine and it didn’t work. It’s ever so slightly smaller and a slightly different shape.

Drop Hotlines an email to see if they can get one for you.

If it's just swapping onto a frame with the same hose length do you need to fit new olives?
When ever I swapped hoses, admittedly on Shimano brakes, because I run them right hand rear I just leave the olive in.
As long as the barrel nut is snugged up I have never had any issues with them sealing properly.
