Having great fun out here on my family holiday staying in Argentiere. Got out yesterday for a few runs down Le Tour and back thru the forest traverse into Argentiere. Today looks like Vallorcine if I get a couple of hours free. Thanks to the Cham bike book guys. Their book is a good intro. The double descent down Le Tour ( chairlift and cable car) was great and a good all rounder trail certainly not difficult. The ground is dry and loose at the moment and weather sunny.
I hope to get a Chamonix guide booked if I can get one in the next few days so I can try a pr oper epic day ride 🙂

So your view is there is plenty of riding even in the Jul/Aug period when a lot of trails are closed to bikes.

Phil at MBMB showed us some good stuff last week, as did Sam from bike verbier if you fancy a trip over the Swiss border. Both really nice folk with a wealth of local knowledge

Cheers that looks good in the book and is near here too . I will give it a go. After winging about it on the forum the other day I finally got my map uploaded for my garmin and it's been a great help!

Enough riding seems open for me on my family hol( I'm just doing 1-2hrs a day), but if you are on a bike only focus hol you would probably best go with guides. Beauty now is the open bike trails i have seen are certainly not crowded with bikers .
