Went to adjust the tune on my Cane Creek DB Air. Wound out the LSC as far as it would go but think I went too far as now it just spins and clicks in both directions without hitting an end.

Did I just break my shock before a ride? Any ideas how to fix this?

yes you have wound out the poppet too far. You'll need to get it serviced. Tells you in the manual not to wind the adjusters out too far.

If you ride it the oil will probably piss out past the adjuster.

It’s a stupid design, I didn’t wind it far beyond obvious resistance. 🙁

Is it one of the early ones with no climb switch and the brass LSC and LSR needles? Sounds like you might have snapped the needle, nothing to do with the poppet.

No, it's got the climb switch.

It's currently being serviced...

I don’t know why this came up at the top of my feed as it was 5 days old!

Hopefully they have the part needed as I know Cane Creek no longer make them for the first generation pre CS shocks.
