Has Warnscales had some work done?

Rode Warnscales this weekend. Seemed easier than the last time I ride it around 12 years ago.

I recall more bedrock and less loose stones. Also seemed to be a lot more flow to it.

Still great, and one of my favourite trails in the lakes.

Has it been fixed/done/improved in the last 10 years?

As in Warnscale bottom down to buttermere? I don't recall it having work done, but it's been a year or so since I rode it last. Could be that you've got better or your bike has bigger wheels?

Yes, Warnscales bottom.

Ah ok. I would go with bigger wheels then and a maintained skill level 😀

It’s a tough descent. On a bad day there’s no flow and it’s just a lumpy mess. On a good day you find all the lines and it’s easy(er). Carrying a bit of speed and momentum from one section into the next does wonders for your confidence
