Every time somebody starts a wheelsize thread a kitten dies and that one looks decidedly nervous 🙂

Both are supposed to be good bikes. Pick which one suits your riding more.

Well there isn't a difference like there is between the 26"/29" SJ Evo's but yeah the E29" is the faster bike when it gets rowdy. If you've got no desire to race the 26" is more than enough bike.

Surely there will be a 27.5 version out soon....

It would be a great idea to make one with 27.5 inch wheels, you'd get the best of both worlds then. 😐

I liked the Dirt review of the 29er, which basically goes "HOLY ****. This is too much bike for practically everyone and everything" 😆

@ Kudos...thats why im asking as i dont know how id get on with the 29er. Im currently on a BFe at 160 which always puts a grin on my face when pointed down. Previous bikes have been a Spicy & a Meta 6. Climbing is my weak spot though and if i had less travel & a lighter bike for climbing duties im worried that I'll miss out on the fun when descending.
