Good, bad or ugly?

What do you like/ hate about them? Comfy?

Mostly it's the ugly that put me off tbh! But the range of rises is impressive.

Comfy, stiff and light - what more do you need?

Had the Alu version but experienced hand pain (Raynolds syndrome related) so splashed out on the carbon version - hand pain went away instantly!!
Good points: light, comfy with a nice finish.
Bad points: expensive, awful branding on the front.

Oh, and I'm only 11st but I notice flex in the bars but I quite like it.

Graphics are terrible, but they're comfy and a decent width for a trail bike. Never had any complaints about them being anything less than stiff either. I'd buy 'em again without much thought.

For whatever it's worth, I just put an enve bar on a bike and it looks like an expensive product. Renthal's costs about the same I think at RRP, and looks like the cheapest bar on the market (though, Answer are also competing in the Expensive/Looks Cheap stakes). And that's pure tartiness but these are all good products, as are Raceface, Crank Bros and others- but if you're spending over a ton on a bar you want it to look like over a hundred quid's worth of bar, rather than something that dropped out of a really long cracker.

I like mine - although the graphics are not the best as mentioned. Comfortable bend and lots of rise options. Feel stiff enough but don't' transmit buzz either.

@ Northwind......I've been looking at the Enve also ( read almost drooling) , just wish they had a bit more rise. Looks like I'm gonna have to start adding a spacer or two. Where did you get yours?

& yes the Renthals are FUGLY..

I got mine from classifieds here, because I'm a pikey 🙂

High rise wide carbon is pretty uncommon, I think possibly Renthal are the only ones over 30mm? The Crank Bros Iodine is a nice bar and comes in 30mm, and is quite a bit cheaper- really happy with mine on the other bike, and I got them new for the price of a used Renthal or Enve.

(it's OK to buy Crank Bros stuff as long as it has no moving parts)

Bike-mailorder have them on offer for less than £100 at them moment. There's also a discount code out there too for an extra 15% off (a quick Google should find it).
