New bike time. The bike I'm looking at (VooDoo Bokor) comes with has Suntour Epicon forks. Are they good or should I just stick on an old set of QR Revelations?
They're ok, but you'll probably be wanting some Revs soon.
I borked some 29er ones in 3 days riding... Stick the revs on
hmmm... OK. I had some on my Fury. When they were new they were pretty good but that didn't last long. After 10 months use, admittedly over 2000 miles including DJing and DHing they were dead. The stanchions had worn, the bushings had worn, the front axle wasn't working correctly, oil leaked out and the damping went haywire and I even found a crack in the fork crown.
I've now got some Reba RLTs which are miles ahead.
Anyone else?
