Wandering if anyone has had any time on one, or own one?
Contemplating going all in and getting one or maybe a nomad, have riden them both but am undecided at the moment between the two.
Two good looking bikes. What were your thoughts on them?
Rode the yeti one day, after riding a fairly harsh feeling setup white, in comparison the yeti felt so active on the rear suspension and took me a while to get used to it. It's a fun bike, really wants to riden quick, feels at home at race speed! Unfortunately it had a faulty rear shock, so I'm due to go back and try it again when it's been sorted.
The nomad also felt really good to ride, I thought with its longer travel at 165mm it would be too,ugh for all day peddling. But tbh, it was fine, certainly no worse than the current 150mm I'm riding. Real confidence inspiring bike, great in the air, again felt happy at speed.
I'm torn, the yeti is favourite, as its more what I'm after, less travel, slightly lighter weight but was really impressed with the nomad ( I actually wanted to not like the nomad! But it's thrown a spanner in the works!)
@jim25 I'm thinkin of buyin the Sb6c I tried the Nomad but wasn't keen preferred the Bronson as it was a bit more lively really like the look of the Yeti's geometry might have to have a test ride I know there's one down at Degla hoping it will be bit more lively to ride than the Nomad.
The Yeti got a pretty stunning write up in What Mountain Bike mag.....if you trust that sort of thing?
