Running a 26+ set up on a 27.5 frame. 2.75 dirt wizards on 35mm rims, comfy and fast. Only just built it and need to play with tyre pressures etc, lusting after 27.5+ now.

Clearance in the rear on the FF29 must be tight as a gnats chuff unless those wtb tyres come up very narrow.

I've not seen anywhere that has 27.5x2.8 tyres in stock yet, but one of the things that has stopped me putting the Solaris up for sale is that I thought this might be fun. Not sure why though, if I want 70mm of undamped suspension I could just buy a BSO from the supermarket. They do look fun though 🙂

I'm watching that FF29 chubbie page with interest - i've had a fatbike itch for a while and that could be a relatively cheap way of giving it a go!

The tyres on link through pinkbike do make 27.5+ look interesting. Some aggressive looking rubber for the front and something which rolls nicely on the rear.
