thinking about sticking a set of talas 100/120/140 talas forks on mine but wondered how much slacker it will feel at 140?

I'm just building up a ex 9 with those forks, never built a bike before, but was told anything up to 140mm would be ok.
Merry Christmas 😀

I have a 2010 EX9 I thought they ran upto 130mm forks.

Does anyone have any problems with their chain coming off! I haven't figured out how to fit a chain device yet!

Changed to float 140 this summer. Front wheel does lift a but more on steep climbs but feels great going downhill.

i ran a set of 140 floats on mine and going down was a much improved . Climbing was not that much different as the original fork were 130 talas. I did have to adjust the rear shock pressure a bit as it squtted a bit more. I ran a 50mm stem with mine ( my preference).
my mate brought the frame off me and runs 140 revs and its even better than the floats .

80mm, but that was changed as soon as I got the bike from the stock 100mm. Haven't changed it since moving from 120 to 140.

Run my EX8 with Talas 140mm & it's fine. 70mm stem though... pays to go shorter than stock!

Running 140mm revelations with a 50mm stem and I think it's fun 🙂
