On the market for a 'more' hard core HT....I have a budget of around 1k. I dont really want to spend much more as I have already bought a FS in the last 12 months.

I have a stumpy HT, but I need something a bit beefier...so far I have been looking at an orange p7 & a Whyte 901...

Other suggestions ?

I wouldn't really consider a p7 or a Whyte beefy.

How "hardcore" do you mean? Something you can jump and rag and downhill courses or something for just pootling about on?

P7 or whyte would do the pootling, something like an NS core 1 or Charge blender will be suitable for ragging.

Perhaps 'beefier' is the wrong word...

Just general trails, trail centres etc, nothing too hardcore like jumps and downhill.

Looking for a bigger HT, my stumpy is way way too light and limited with travel, so I guess 'more solid' would be a better term.

I had a quick blast on an orange p7 and it just felt solid and more stable....

How about a Genesis Core 40?

It just so happens that I am selling a nice shiny new one thats only been ridden 50 yards for £750.
