Does anyone know of a Hardtail that can take a 200mm rotor on the rear brake?
Looking for frames as opposed to complete builds. It’s for a tall and heavy rider, who trashes his brakes too easily with his current setup.
Rå .410 definitely can.
My Ragley Marley could.
Stif Squatch can take a 200mm in the rear
On one Deedar does, as I suspect does the Hello Dave.
as I suspect does the Hello Dave.
Double check that, as the early ones only took a 160mm
dartmoor hornet is 203mm
I presume a Bird Zero AM could, with an appropriate adapter (160mm to 200mm).
My old Whyte 905 came with it as standard. Be surprised if many can’t with adapters? I’m even running the same 200 rotor on the back of my stooge
I’m on a 200mm rotor on my hello dave.
Hello Dave will take a 203 on the older model apparently with a 160 to 203 adapter. The newer version won't work. They changed the brake mount from 160 to 180 and you can't fit the brake in the gap now.
The rotor fits fine. Just the annoying caliper placement.
Sonder Transmitter. More frame than you’ll need.
Stanton Switch9er does.
Running a 200mm rotor on my Sonder Signal ST
Kingdom vendetta does too.

Yeah, this whole question has come about because I have a Hello Dave in the workshop that can only take a 160mm rotor. Spoke to Planet X yesterday and they say the new one can take a 180mm rotor...
From what I've heard the older one that take a 160 will also take a 203 (but not a 180) as that adapter moves the caliper forward enough to clear the seatstay.
Using an adapter like this... https://www.uberbikecomponents.com/view-product/Uberbike-Post-to-Post-PM6-160mm-Direct-Mount-to-203mm-Disc-Brake-Adapter-Colour-Options
@chrisdw Great minds think alike 😉 that's exactly what I've ordered.
