Hi,

Fitted the above combo on the front of my Mega as a tubeless setup a few days ago. Went on fine (hard to get on though!) and blew up real easy. It's stayed up for over a week now no loss of pressure etc...

It looks massive on my rim though, is it going to cause any issues? Schwalbe don't half come up big!

Ta,

Harry

P.S can't ride, got no brakes!

I have this combination on the front (tubeless) on a yeti 5.
Yes it does look big.
No issues so far.

Rode HDs on my Crests for a while, they were grand. Crests are 21mm internal which should be wide enough I think.

Disclaimer: I'm not particularly heavy or particularly gnarr, YMMV depending on stuff and things.

Crests are same ID as Arch EXs.

I've got a HD 2.35 on my Crest front, no probs at all.

Cool mind at ease now thanks!

It's my first tubeless setup and I just had visions of the tyre tearing off the rim on the first hard corner I go into!

I weight <11 stone and cornering is my weakness if I'm being honest, always scrub off loads of speed due to small testes!

I've got the HD on the older 355. It's been fine

I run my HDs on 29er SunRingle Radiums (not sure what rim it's based on but says 20mm x 622) at 20psi and had what I think was a near rolloff of the tyre on a sharp corner last night. No burping but it was a scary moment. I'm thinking of putting a Magic Mary on the front and using Flow EX rims.
