I would like to be able to hang my road bike up inside the house, partly for convenience and partly for security reasons. Most of the wall mounted bike holders are a bit agricultural, does anyone have any recommendations for something a bit more domestic ?

Buy a bike workstand like those made by Park tools & use that as your bike's storage.

You'll know its cool as I've been doing that for years. And I'm very cool indeed.

I had Something LIke This for my road bike in my old flat and it was pretty useful and a piece of p1ss to install... if you use your own rawl bolts instead of the crap that comes with it!
