Not sure if tapered is the right technical term but my bar is thicker in the middle and thinner at the ends.
So any suggestions on how I make a handlebar mount stay on securely?
Some sort of packing material under one side of the mount? Foam?

Bit of old inner tube wrapped round the bar, tighten the mount up tight
