Not really seen a frame mounted Child Seat before, but I don't have racks on the orange, so was wondering are these any good?
And would it be okay on a 90s Clockwork Orange Frame?

Hamax have a decent reputation
As do Weeride with their Kangaroo.

The choice is yours - we went for WeeRide as you are far more involved with the child and the bike is better balanced - but you do have to ride a bit bow legged.

We've got a Thule ride along mini front, which is excellent.

Clamps round the steerer in space of headset spacers, or it clamps directly round a quill stem.

Really well made and sits a little further forward than weeride etc.. so better for knees.

We had a himax that slotted into a mount on the seat tube .fitted fine on my early 90s p7. I would ride the boy to nursery in slot the seat and leave him and it threre then pick up both after work . we had a second mounting block on my wife's bike. The seat is secure and slotting in and out is easy and quick.
The boy enjoyed the ride despite being behind me. The bike handing is compromised by all the weight over the back wheel but not impossibly so .
You can have ours if you can pick up in Leeds as the boy is too big and rides his own bike now.
