hello all

looking to buy said rear wheel for my commuter direct from halo, can anyone recommend a freewheel that will fit said rim, or just a review of the wheel OR any other recommendations!

needs to be 700c with 120mm hub spacing, 16T freewheel ideally

thanks!

I ran some aerorages for commuting for a while, 100 miles a week through London and they never blinked. Same wheel just with braking surface.

Halo or Token

Agree.  I had a clickster and it worked as well as a White Industries (although didn't look so nice!)

Costs quite a bit more than the cheap £10 freewheel but engages more quickly and doesn't make knocking noises, doesn't develop looseness etc,.

The Aerotrack wheels are very good and the rims are light. I used some for a few years on and off road with no issues.  Cartridge bearings can be replaced easily.

As you will be using brakes you may as well get an aero rage as that black braking surface on the aero track will look messy after a while.

Yes a Halo clickster. Quick engagement, strong, rebuildable half the price of a WI just not as shiny. Well worth the cost over a will it/won’t it fail 10quid job.
