Got a few days in Halifax next week, I see the Peak District isn't far away, any tips on places round there to ride that are easy for a stranger to follow? Just looking for a couple of hours after work really.
Hebden Bridge just down the road or railway line, around 7 miles. Loads to go at from here. Too much work on or I'd have offered to show you around. Enjoy wherever you ride.

I'm the Bradford side of Halifax so tend to do Shibden, Ogden, Judy Woods. Elland Woods, Rastrict and Norland Moor are also worth a visit.
