I had an insurance cheque come through for a my Boardman Comp F/S, which as you know retails for £850. I replaced the bike when it went walk-abouts out of my own pocket when it happend. So I get the voucher through for a replacement, and off I toddle to Halfords with "You have enough bikes, unless you would like a divorce, do not buy another" still echoing in my ears from The-Source-Of-All-Evil(wife). Expecting to have a morning of blank looks and frustrations, I was very suprised. Now, through terrible experiences in the past I did enjoy slagging Halfords off, but this time I have nothing but praise for them. The 2 guys that sorted me out were clued up, friendly riders themselves. They double checked prices, got me discounts, price matched etc. Big thanks to David and Richard from the Huddersfield store. Credit where its due.
I'm even still married (ordered a set of Domains amongst other things, not a bike.) Happy boy. 🙂

They aren't going on a boardman, they are for my Mountain Cycle Fury. The Boardman got nicked. It says that in the first few sentences.
