Halfords 25% trade in - repeated?

I'm looking for my next C2W and noticed the rather nice 25% off at Halfords for trade in of an old halfords bike.  The issue is that it 'ends monday' which means I won't have time to get my C2W voucher.  Does anyone know if this trade in offer is something that is repeated regularly so it could be worth waiting for another one?

Thanks

Will they honour the 25% off when using the c2w voucher  - I'd have a good look at the current t&C's before holding out.

Quite often (well twice, with the British cycling discount) I've found that the staff don't know the t&C's on the offers but the till at the store flags it when trying to purchase.

Yes it says on the T&Cs that it works alongside C2W.  But C2W presents an awkward chicken and egg setup - you must know the value of your basket to get the voucher but then have to wait by which point the value may change (or bike may even not be available).  Daft system!

Order the bike online for instore payment/ collection. Request voucher. Call store and ask them nicely to hold the bike for you until the voucher comes through? Maybe

Or even speak to the store and ask about holding the bike beforehand?

This is 2nd time they’ve done it I think.

The 1st was early May (30% that time). I traded in a kids bike and got £840 off their Boardman e-gravel bike.

Yes, they had 30% off back in May which also worked with c2w. Like Benos, I traded in a qualifying kids bike (£40 off marketplace) to get an extra "£250" off a Boardman 8.6 gravel bike. I only started messing about because I'd ordered my voucher, it took 3 weeks to come through and by the time it had the bike I was going to get had gone up by £150 - and on our scheme you're not allowed to add money to the voucher.

But what was the process?

1) trade in bike at store
2) get final price
3) get c2w voucher for final price
4) take voucher to store
5) get bike...?

The 25% deal includes Brompton electric and Raleighs...

My company doesn’t do c2w sadly. So for me it was:

Buy bike online with offer selected.
Take trade-in bike when collecting.

They have a list of qualifying bikes linked somewhere + some requirements about age and condition. All very straightforward. It’s all about the bike - you don’t need to be the original owner.

The deal ended today so I'll have to cross my fingers it comes back on at some point.  There was no option to check out then use the voucher at a later stage unfortunately .
