Looking to ride some manmade trails in one of these venues. We usually ride moderate tech stuff in Mortimers Forest at home and we've done Hopton red just fine. We live in Shropshire so they're all about 1h30mins away.

Anyone got any thoughts on a good option for us for a day out?

Nant yr Arian will be quietest and is fun. Coed y Brenin has loads of choice. Llandegla will be heaving...

Minsterley calling...
The long mynd.

Nant Degla then CYB in that order.
Nant not very rocky, some nice trails and county side.
degla, won't be too busy on a week day.
CYB, rocky, if he isn't phased by rocks, then ok.
Marin is a nice big day out.

Elan if the weather is nice.
we (me and the boy just 13) are off to Rhayader for the MTB Marathon tomorrow.

I'd expect Llandegla to be quite busy tomorrow. It is most weekends and I'd expect the holiday to bring more people in, especially if the weather prediction is right.
