Still needs a few things sorting out but that can wait until after.
my lordy, that's a rather wide girth that your frontage has.
The bike looks nice as well!
Hope it's as much fun to ride as it looks, you lucky bugger 🙂
Ooh, it's even got somewhere to dry your towel. Sweet!
A couple more pics.

nice ,betterer than the last one??
far too retro............... 😉
Think your tyres might be a bit skinny there - have you considered getting slightly larger ones for better grippage? Also, your lawn needs tidying and your bike appears to be stuck halfway up a tree.
All that said, it's really not as fugly as it would seem.... 🙂
Dave.
It's shinier than the other one so there for much betterer.
Nicko.
The lawn might need tidying but i do have swans on my pool to make up for it. 😆
remind me why the front tyre is soo big?
You could've rode across King Georges puddle with that front tyre
Oooh liking that... good work.
remind me why the front tyre is soo big?
So that I can ride across King Georges puddle of course. 🙄 😉
tis very nice indeed stu.......... 8)
beautiful frame
do they make normal bikes, with proper size wheels, sus forks and gears?
What's the thinking behind fat front and thinner rear?
Love the frame btw
James will make you what ever you want.
Even if it has trainer wheels and strength compensators* 😉
*gears
Lovely........drool !
she`s a beauty .. is she Scotlandshire bound ?
Loooovely!
Cheesy.
I think it might find it's way there. 😉
Nice - but a truss fork would finish it off 😉
Just got back from a ride on my 1/2 fat bike - the fat tyre just puts a smile on my face 😀
I have been thinking about getting a truss fork built for it.
Might make it too similar to one of my other bikes though. 😉
Fat tyres do bring a huge grin to your face though. 8)
Thats rather nice 😀
But seriously, is that tyre heavy to chug around?
(Having never tried one)
I like that, clothes rail and all.
? Looks ??
Is the chubby rubber to aid the rigid cutlery up front? Looks pretty trippy, I think I like it. Also the towel rail, structural or aesthetic? I can't tell whether you've a 29 or a 26 out back, it's dwarfed by that house squasher on the front!
Ewe must get the odd double take on that
May i be as bold as to ask how much?
haha flannel hanger!
can I have a go?
Lovely, I like the half fat look and reminds me I must finish off mine which now just needs a front wheel/tyre.
**I've got a spare Pugsley 135mm offset fork if anyone is looking for one or has a 40mm+ wheel to swap**
duntstick - MemberBut seriously, is that tyre heavy to chug around?
A very good question and the one that seems to get asked the most.
I'd say it was less draggy than the 2.5 super tacky than i have on my shitting dog.
So yes it is a bit draggy, but not as bad as other tyres out there.
. Also the towel rail, structural or aesthetic?
It's a bit of both.
looks nice 😮 they built a tandem fatbike which was wicked,
still find it hilarious when folk ask about the tyres...i tell them its a bicycle
agree easier to ride than a 2.5" sticky tyred bike (with or without 25L back pack)
love folk asking me if there slow, its always before you overtake them... 😆
Fat front worked well for me on the Trans Provence, although got to admit big forks would have been nice at times where v. Steep and rocky, particularly where rock steps numbered upwards of a hundred on. 7km downhill!!!
All the mountain staff were waiting for me to say it was all too hard.
I was running about 6 psi and whacked the rim quite a few times on big rocks but no flats 😆
It was awesome on the baby head rock paths/roads, just surfed over it all where the narrower tyres were tracking gaps.
Also it had fantastic front end grip under braking.
I think it has a place on the trail,
Bike looks very nice Stu.
All In all the fat front was great fun
All the mountain staff were waiting for me to say it was all too hard.
Hmmmm ... I suggest you retract that statement !
I'm one of the mountain staff, I wasn't waiting for you to say it was too hard, on the contrary I was hoping you wouldn't and I'm pretty sure you should have been aware of my position.
It's not easy to piss me off but you just have :O)
I retract it then please accept my apologies for pissing you off, I'll clarify.
The feedback I got from a member of the mountain staff (all of whom were great by the way, and thats not sucking up, everyone on the event thought it was made by the people and you guys worked harder than us) was that it was expected I would find it all a bit hard and may well quit.
I didn't say that you guys did not hope I wouldn't give up (which was never going to happen, my ego wouldn't have allowed it),
I only had support, respect and encouragement from staff and competitors for carrying on riding (with hindsight) a slightly inappropriate, but enormous fun, bike!
So I unreservedly apologise macpuppy . I'm sorry if that statement pissed you off, por choice of words and the perfect example of where sentiment and tone is not always carried across as intended in the written word.
It was a bit bloody hard however, next time 'll do it on a full susser, and I hope and will try my best to make that next time, next year as it was an experience I will never forget and would like to repeat. 😀
Off to the Cycle show to see if there are any Orange Five AM's to look at 😆
/removes teeth from chainlines erse/ ;o)
next time 'll do it on a full susser,
Looser ! 🙂
All being well, I shall back with The Dialled of doom 🙂
I'm thinking Nicolai Helius AM or Orange 5... anyway better stop hijacking Stu's thread..I survived on my Jones and had fun with the fat front...
Chainline, you want to try a tallboy.very good and mucho fun.I rode with you at Ssuk on the Jones diamond
