Does anyone know what the difference between a 45.5 and a 46 is likely to be. Is it the difference between a thin pair of socks and a thick pair? More less? Just seen a set of Sidi's, usually wear 46.
In adidas running shoes the difference between a UK half sizes is roughly 4mm. Their website says a 46 (UK11) is 28.4cm and a 46 2/3 (UK11.5) is 28.8mm.
So assuming Sidi is similar I reckon 2 or 3mm.
SIDI half sizes are the same soles but with more material to allow for slightly taller feet.
So a 45.5 is a 45 sole with a bit more upper.
The 'Mega' versions use a wider sole.
So no, but a 46.5 might fit with a thicker sock though.
Unless you originally sized up to a 46 to get more volume and don't need the length.
I do not need more volume that is a given. thanks.
