Voodoo Bizango. Had it three days.

Locked up outside the main entrance to my work, with my office desk overlooking the ****ing bike rack. Was nicked an hour after i last looked to check it was there.Apparently someone snapped a pic of them taking it. I am ****ing raging right now.

Will be dealing with police etc....its on finance so still havent ****ing paid for it. Will obvs. be checking gumtree daily for months now.

Dont really know what to do, Want to go and buy another but dont really fancy paying £1200 in total for a bike.

Thats all really. Really, really ****ing angry right now.

That is rotten luck, sorry to hear 🙁

Sounds like whoever nicked it knew what sort of window they had to do it in.

Have you seen the picture? Do they not look familiar?

Covered on your home insurance? Don't necessarily need stand alone insurance.

That sucks mate.

Know how you feel after some scum broke into our garage in March and took my bikes. No joy so far on eBay or Gumtree.

To answer some of the above

- was taken around 5pm outside the main entrance to the Institute for Medical Sciences (IMS) building on the Foresterhill hospital site.

- i dont have insurance of any kind, be it bike or contents insurance

- to rub it in a bit more, Halfords have discounted it by £70 quid....RIP

Witness got a reasonable photo of this toe rag. Distinctive look and shit tat on right forearm....hopefully he is known to the police.

CCTV footage of him taking it too.

Yes! Let's hope they throw the book at him and you get your bike back ASAP. Have you got any bombers you can lend the local plod?

Locking your bike up in a city is a bold move with no insurance if it's of any value. Fingers crossed you get your bike back in 1 piece and get insurance on it.

It's encouraging to hear a few stories of the police picking up these arseholes and folks getting their bikes back.

If i get it back it will be chained to my leg until i get insurance.

Not sure whether to go and buy another one (insured obviously). If I get it back then i'd have two bikes and wont really be able to get full price for either one of them.

Just get a commuter hack to lock up outside work.

Leave the nice bike at home for actually riding offroad.

Or spend around 100 quid on a decent lock.
