hmmm...started at Balerno, went round the side of the threipmuir reservoir, turn right at a post where everyone deems it acceptable to leave bags of dog shite, then up a climb followed by the downhill...

don't know the pentlands to well...we have a nice wee route thats about 10 miles, but a couple of that after the downhill bit is tarmac.

corking descent that. and that other wee track from that farm at the edge of the shooting range to glencorse was also pretty cracking the other day in the dry. and the one from windy nick to boghall... i wish i didn't have a cold right now!

So much I'm missing! Need to get a good map. TJ provided me with some routes, but anyone got one with all the good decents highlighted?

Maidens Cleugh? Love it! We did that from Harlaw Ranger Centre side, down to Flotterstone for a beer, then climbed the 2 hills, Turnhouse and Carnethy (follow the signs for Scald Law), and if you turn right and head down to the white house at the end of Loganlea Reservoir its a pretty good grassy downhill there too, very fast. You can pick up a map from the ranger centres for nowt. Smiles all round in the Pentlands. 😀
