Wow - single speed is easier than I thought!
I've toyed with the idea of a ss road bike for the commute, but having tried it on a few mtbs I decided it would just be too hard going on some of my local climbs.
Turns out it's different on the road. I had no issue whatsoever blasting up steep (to me at least) climbs on this thing, in fact it was easier than my geared hybrid for some reason, presumably weight and transmission losses.
If you haven't tried it, I recommend it!
