This is a new one on me...
The police want to cut down on bike theft as criminals often use them to commit other crimes like burglary and robbery.

Good stuff... now they just need to start doing this in London! Have often thought about doing it 'vigilante' stylee, maybe with hidden cameras and a slingshot or somesuch, or even an electric shock setup... would make for great Youtube footage! 😈

Many years ago, Charing Cross police did this around Covent Garden, with great success.
