i've searched i promise (though im sure someone will find it now). however - can you get a connversion kit from 30mm hope BB to GXP? Is it a 30mm specific issue or possibly a Hope specific issue?
I've ordered a new set of Cranks for a new frame, aong with BB - it will be shiny Hope EVO. Cranks are yonks away, but BB is in stock. Brilliant. I've been loaned (ha, he'll never see them again) a set of SRAM XO1 GXP cranks that will go in place of my very tired SLX's from about 2004.
However, Hope to DUB = YES, HOPE to GXP seems no.
Alternative, i still have my old Wheels MFG HTII so could convert these as an interim step along with non rusted bearing's..
having just written that - shall i just replace the bearings in the BB shell on the old Wheels MFG to GXP compatible can you do that?

Hope do a spacer that simply slots between the narrower axle side and the larger BB. I bought one when i mistakenly bought a shimano bb to replace a gxp one.
I dont think there is a hope 30 -> GXP converter
There is a Hope 24 (shimano) -> gxp converter.
The GXP is 24mm on the drive side 23 (ish?) on the NDS, so they do a 1mm spacer for their Shimano 24/24 BB NDS to reduce it and make it work
You would need to reduce the 30mm BB by 6&7mm to make it work.....
Just buy a cheap GXP BB. Won't be too much more and they only last a few months anyway......
Or better still, buy the convertor linked above and leave your Shimano SLX or whatever it is in. Keep the Hope for when the cranks arrive.
