any one got any idea of a sram part code or where to buy in the uk??

all I can see are the sram nx replacement ones (steel), or the x01/xx1 ones that are daft money!

given the gx cranksets are around 90 quid, I cant see them having the same x01/xx1 chainring at a similar price just for that

I assume it must be a different type of alloy than the xx1 but cannot for the life of me find them for sale??

yep but they are non eagle, I find the eagle chainring does work pretty well and has remained quiet, not all of them have managed that for me with eagle

I'd go for the steel NX ones personally.

I've got the equivalent SRAM x-sync 11 spd steel direct mount ring on two bikes with X01 cranks and they've been faultless. Can't see any good reason to go for an alloy chainring over a steel one. Weight difference will be minimal anyway. The SRAM DM steel rings are very good, last well and are cheap as chips.

it weighs double the alloy one #weightweenie 😆 but I get what your saying - its probs more beneficial to sack off the double weight for the life/price compromise

Oh, agree on the weight difference - I swapped my alloy GX ring for a steel one and now I can't lift the bike.. 😉

Joking aside, the SRAM steel Eagle DM rings are great, cheap, and last forever. Just get one of them.

Shameless plug: I have a brand new 32t non-boost version that I'd sell for £20 posted. Drop me a pm if interested.
