Fancy heading up there over the holidays. Last rode the Marin trail in 2004. Does riding Bach followed by Mawr make sense or is it too repetitive?

I think everything of interest on the Bach is shared with Mawr, but it's got an almighty bastard steep fire road climb in the middle of it to cut back. My suggestion would be to loop around the last bit of the Mawr (up to the 'crossroads' at the top of the main climb) if you're in the mood for more.

That climb is 23.6% according to Strava. Literally straight back up the hill. Not even to the top, there’s still some gradual fire road climbing to do!

For me, id do the big one, then id do the start ofbthe big one until the crossroads at post 11. (I think) then id just turn right at the crossroads and do the descents.

Do the long one and sniff out some of the off-piste, which can be accessed off the main climb.

Or just loop back up that for the final descent a few times.
