After a month waiting for my new bike it arrived yesterday without a seat clamp bolt or front axle, along with a punctured rear tyre courtesy of a box staple. Unfortunately no at to contact the supplier by phone so no idea when I will be able to ride

They aren't hidden in the packing box somewhere are they ? I'd be tempted to buy replacements if you can get them quickly rather than miss any more of the summer !

How was the seat post secured in the frame during transit? (or was seat post separate in the box?)

Nothing left in the box.... Which was completely open at the bottom. Seat post was cable tied to the frame for transport.

I've managed to fit a bodge bolt for now and purchased a Maxle from a local shop. Have asked Planet X to refund me for the Maxle as I just want to get out riding.

Shame we could probably all guess the supplier before you's even said who it was. And that's coming from a long time customer.

Not necessarily Planet X for that - it could also have been Vitus. Seen one of their frames that was even missing the ‘V’ such is their quality control!
