I've never really looked on gumtree before, let alone bought anything, but just having a quick look now and there are some serious bargains about!
Anybody picked up anything good bike related?
My stolen Patriot appeared on there if that's any help. It was quite a bargain.
Not bike related but big futniture can be a bargain.
Down your way.. Ligne Rosset, Roche Borbois etc. Worth a look
My experience of Gumtree is that there's some right idiots on there.
I gave up on it after phoning about a car. At 10 in the morning I got through to someone who sounded like they'd just polished off a bag of Heroin.
I bought my BMX off gumtree, all went better than expected. (though, it was incredibly badly maintained considering the lad was selling as he'd joined the reme!)

That's my concern. If its too good to be true etc... I'd hate to buy a stolen bike!
It's bad trying to sell on there too...idiots offering you half of what you want or haven't even read the ad.
