I get the feeling its one from near where La Varda starts, but this one crosses Aiguille Rousse and through the Foret de Plan Peisey, however im just guessing
more like trailDestruction with that skidding round every corner, what's that all about?!
That's pretty embarrassing to watch. I was trying to decide between TrailAddiction and White Room for a Les Arcs trip, I made up my mind after the first skid.
my guess is
GR5 in the vanoise national park
not sure about the last wooded bit tho, an lay off the back brake!!

The rider you're watching is just a punter, unlikely to see Ben (the cameraman) skidding about the place - endos - yes, skidz - no.
"Punter" was awful - riding like that needs taking aside and giving a good talking to. I wouldn't ride like that in my back yard let alone someone elses. 😥
White socks too ❗
The guide should take responsibility for his punters, especially if it is in the Vanoise NP,which it appears to be.
Not sure if this would've been a guide-punter situation tbh. May well just have been mates riding together as they know each other away from TA. No excuse though, they aren't even good skidz!
drifting is kinda different to skidding in my book,
no excuses really
skids are for kids
my guess is GR5 in the vanoise national park
Is the vanoise not off limits to bikes?
That sort of riding might have its place, but it is just plain dumb when the trails are so wet. If guiding companies want to keep being able to make money from mountain bikes around les arcs, it is in their interest to stop s..t like that. The commune won't be very amused if that vid pops up when the mayor is surfing YouTube.
looks like a fun trail though..
Vanoise is off limits.
Its not in the national park, its looking over towards the national park and the GR5, that im sure of
yes, yes, yes. But WHITE SOCKS FFS!
I've heard the dodgy shortcuts and torn straightlines around there described as "trail addiction lines" before, looks like it's true! I like to think if I rode like that our guides would tell me to bloody stop it.
The track looks really fun, but those skids! 8O.
Les arcs is high on my list for next dummer
I know Ben well. He is a legend. Top bloke & top rider. Skids are definately off his agenda. Not sure who the hell the dude in front is though?? His braking seems a bit all or nothing. Might as well have the rear brake wired up to a switch.
I'm sure Ben will have had a word with him as he takes trail preservation and the image of bikers in the area seriously and responsibly.
got bored after a minute.....
Was wondering what everyone was making such a fuss about, then I got to 3:40. 😯
Does look like a fun trail though.
wow
slightly speechless
such awesome skillz on show there and possibly restraint not to "have a word" from the guide, not sure if I'd want my name on that one.
Finally managed to watch that one.
Nice trail.
Nothing wrong with skids & drifts in the right place.
But...
That wasnt the right place by any stretch!
Its not in the national park, its looking over towards the national park and the GR5, that im sure of
Nope.
Have we ridden near it Stevo?
Going to spill the beans Stevo?
Saying nothing! 😉
Were you ripping the skids stevo 😉
