I've got one, looks nice but NOT at all impressed with it, major friction and resistance to rotation, kind of negated the point of having ceramic bearings. Not worth the investment, pay more and get Hope or Chris King for sure.

I've been running a GUB Ceramic HT2 BB. Bought from eBay for not much. It's done a year in Jersey (very salty and corrosive beach rides) and also about 6 months now in the Peak. Not a hint of anything breaking on it. Smooth as you like. If you can find one I highly recommend them.

The major friction above is due to bad installation. You should do up the end cap with your hand (and the fitting socket) - nothing more. Without a chain mine spins for about 30 seconds.

they're ok, But I found they were the wrong length, ie only needed a single spacer to fit a 68mm shell.
I rather foolishly fitted all 3 spacers to mine regardless. the crank fell off mid ride and I suspect the additional leverage didn't help the bearings. I stripped it, regreased it and now its fine.
Bargain price, but be aware, buy cheap, buy twice...

any more thoughts?

Yep, I just bought a Deore BB from Rose Bikes for £7.90 and an XT for £12.90. So I am thinking, balls to everything else.

Nah, it's £6 postage. But even if you only buy one that works out about the same as UK delivered prices, so as soon as you buy a couple it becomes a hard to beat deal.

Deore's pretty ordinary though, the XT/SLX one lasts a fair bit better, which is why I got a Deore (for the SX Trail) and an XT (for the 456, which'll get ridden about 10 times as much)
