Looking to get a SS, as I'm fed up of having to clean my full sus after a night ride. I had been looking to get a 2nd hand one, but then noticed that the GT peace is going for £329 at Evans. Are these any good? Looks pretty good for the cash, but is it up to being used and abused?
I'll be using it for our short but sweet night rides.

29er or 26er?

i have an 07 26in one. ebb has been reliable. the mech disc brakes aren't so good. wheels ok. massive 2.3 tyres a bit overkill. and with all the budget bits - its not the lightest single-speed. the only other thing to note is the long std. forks (470mm). which indicates this frame is designed around a 125mm suspension fork or use a 29er *carbon* rigid fork.

swap out a few bits. thru the classifieds or your parts bin and it will be fine!

Genesis IO always seem to be on offer, they look like a decent frame and reasonable components too.
