Hello, guys i want to ask you one question!
I want to buy a cyclocross bike.I found one at rutlandcycling.com
This is the bike https://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/road-bikes/gt-grade-cx-rival-2017-cyclocross-road-bike-red_378753
The price is low and I don’t know is this bike brand new or ex-display, demo?
what do you think is the bike good for the money,i will use it most ot the time in city, and maybe weekends on the eco trails. This will be my first cyclocross bike.I also want to ask you is the site legit, becaus i found negative coments on internet for this seller.
And my last question is what size should i buy?I am 179-180cm size 55 or size 56?
Sorry for my english it is not my first language. Thanks you very much!
The only issue I've had with Rutland is them saying they have stock when they havent & you have to wait ages. So i always telephone & confirm first. They are a legit business with a few shops so no worries there
If they've got it in stock in your size its fine for the money.
I have one and really rate it so for the money and if they have the right size I think it’s a good buy.
I have the same bike (2016 alloy Grade that I "upgraded" to Sram Rival 1x11), great bike, I love it. Not strictly a cyclocross race bike though (unless they've changed the frame geometry?), more a general gravel bike, but a little more road oriented as you'll only fit 700x35c tyres in the frame.
I'm 180cm and have a 55cm frame. 55-56 should be ok for you.
I've bought parts ftom Rutland cycling in the last eith no issues.
