I bought a Shimano GRX 600 double chainset from Ribble that was advertised as 11sp.
However the chainrings are etched 10sp. Will it work with my 11sp chain?
Thanks
Ian
600 is 11 spd, 400 is 10spd.
What’s the part no around the pedal boss?
Qh ok....i ahall go and check....brb

Ok it says its an rx600 but the rings are definately etched 10sp.
So im guessing its a hybrid with non original chainrings?

600 is 11 spd, 400 is 10spd.
Shimano's GRX website shows 10 speed and 11speed GRX600 - FC-RX600-10 and FC-RX600-11.
It should work because the internal dimensions of the chain are the same.
The external width of the chain is slightly narrower on 11-speed, about 0.5mm less, so barely noticeable. If you're not happy return it, but if it's bargainous...
It will be fine. 10 speed cranks work fine with 11 speed chains but not the other way around, I assume you have a GRX front mech as well?
I'm running an old 10 speed ultegra chainset with 11 speed everything else, works great.
Shimano’s GRX website shows 10 speed and 11speed GRX600 – FC-RX600-10 and FC-RX600-11.
So it does, and the 400 version has gone. Odd!
My mistake - 400 series has always run 600 cranks with 10 spd rings.
OP - wouldn’t worry - 11spd rings would likely shift more crisply, but expect your set up will still shift better than most alternatives!
I have a grx fr mech and this item cost me £30 new, so i will keep it!
Thanks for the input about chain internal width!
