Any recommendations for a grip that your hands don't slip and slide on when your hands get sweaty during summer riding? Much prefer riding gloveless but it's not much fun when your grips become moto throttles!

Like the shape of my hope grips but they're rubbish once wet. Heard the renthal ultra tacky ones are good but don't like the big outer collar on them. The push on ones perhaps?

Sensus Disisdaboss! They're not cheap but trust me on this. They are hands down (see what i did there?) the best gloveless mtb grips ever produced. Designed by a Californian who lthinks nothing of jumping 70ft canyons in the baking sun with no gloves on. They're ace in UK mud too BTW.
so long as you buy them in Black i'll buy them off you if you somehow don't like them (less the hire price obvz)

For a cheaper option, what about ESI. grips?

ESIs are awful and get positively dangerous with sweaty hands.

hint: because there's nowhere for it to wick away to.

I found esi chunky OK but they do get slippy and damage easily, swapped to single lock santa cruz palmdale and happy with them, feel great as long as you rotate the logo in the opposite direction of your palm, so you've just got the plain cross hatch area as contact.

I certainly don't plan on going back to foam/silicone grips, and I don't like the idea of double lock ons.

The race day compound of the DMR Deathgrip are working well so far for me, last two rides have been gloveless and my hands not slipped despite being pretty sweaty. Also only have the inner lock ring.

I've always ridden gloveless, these grips are a revelation. Came with a set of Renthal Fatbar carbon bars, I was more impressed with the £20 grips than the £135 bars.

Doesn't matter how sweaty your hands are of if it's pouring with rain, xc, uplift, bike park, dh, racing I've had no problems with grip. Even when they're looking worn out you can't fault them.

Make sure you get the Ultra Tacky compound.

Why gloveless? Once I’m on the bike I don’t notice I have gloves on, and if you come off they at least give you a bit of protection.

In fairness it started off when I was doing seasons and not white hands/brown arms tan lines, haven't worn gloves for a good 10/15 years now and hate it every time I try to go back. In that time I think I've cut my hand twice crashing so its a non issue really.

ODI Elite Pro have done me well for the last 18 months. Will replace like for like when they finally wear out!

I'm gloveless 90% of the time and classic BMX mushroom style grips are my far my favourite.  ODI Longneck is the benchmark.  Currently DMR Sect which feel just as good.  Tried Sensus once, felt good but shredded quickly.
